Patrick Joyce lived his life as a firefighter, father and devoted husband and family member. Working in a busy department just north of the Bronx, New York Joyce impacted peoples lives on and off the job.
Over five thousand firefighters attended his funeral today in the Bronx to say goodbye to a beloved Yonkers firefighter. Arriving from around the nation firefighters came to pay their respects and to honor the man who died trying to help others. The funeral, held at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, included Joyce arriving with his casket atop a fire truck.
