Just days after a hazing scandal on the track team rocked the elite Bronx High School of Science, the Daily News has obtained a disturbing photo of the student-athletes acting out their dangerous brand of humor.

The photo, which was provided to The News by a school staffer, captures a lighthearted moment — a group of boys goofing off at a team event — but in the wake of charges filed in February against three athletes, it seems like further evidence of the team’s dark underside.

Thomas Brady, 16; Pier Berkmans, 17; and Boubacar Diallo, 16 — were arrested Feb. 28 and charged with forcible touching, endangering an incompetent person and hazing after allegedly tormenting a 15-year-old freshman with months of vulgar, sexual taunts. All three have pleaded not guilty.

Berkmans’ lawyer, Peter Schaffer, would not comment, and David Druckman, Brady’s lawyer, did not respond to messages. The News was unable to reach Angel Cruz, Diallo’s lawyer.HAZE6N_4Bronx Science High School Athletic Director Marion Dietrich was suspended after three track athletes were charged with hazing a 15-year-old teammate. An email she sent out last year indicates she knew about the behavior.
