Assemblyman Carl Heastie’s finance degree could come in handy if he has to check out party books.

 A lotta folks have been wondering just how much money the Bronx Democratic Party (the old one) has left in the kitty.

If the Rainbow Rebels should win that court fight, new chairman Carl Heastie will have to apply his master’s degree in finance looking over the party’s books, which we hear are sliding toward the red column.

Then, there’s the legal bill for fighting the rebel challenge in court.
