Nov. 10 (Bloomberg) — Cisco Systems Inc., the world’s largest maker of networking equipment, will team with the New York Yankees to incorporate fan-friendly technologies in the Major League Baseball club’s new $1.3 billion stadium.
Cisco Chief Executive Officer John Chambers and Yankees co- chairman Hal Steinbrenner will give specific details of the partnership during a news conference tomorrow at the company’s New York offices, the Yankees said in a news release.
The Yankees’ new stadium is located across the street from the team’s previous home in the Bronx and will be open for play at the start of the 2009 major-league season. Read more..
