Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz didn’t turn to celebrity magazines for money this holiday season — instead, they premiered the first photo of their first-born child on their Web site on Christmas Day.
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz sure didn’t turn to the mags for money this holiday season — instead, they premiered the first photo of their first-born child on their Web site on Christmas Day.
The first picture of Bronx Mowgli Wentz, being cradled by mom and kissed by dad, showed up on their Web site, FriendsOrEnemies.com, in the form of a holiday e-card.
“Happy Holidays to all of our friends! Love Pete, Ashlee and Bronx,” their greeting read.

But some of the first hints that something big was happening came from a series of transmissions from outside the five boroughs. Those messages came from a strip mall in New Jersey and were sent to pagers and computers in newsrooms in New York City and beyond.
